Emerlyn Technology, LLC has been awarded the 2008 Supplier of the Year Award from Freedom Pharmacy, recognizing the pharmacy services provider for the efficiency gains and cost savings from SureCost® software provided to the Indianapolis, Indiana, pharmacy's business last year.

Launched four years ago, SureCost is purchasing software that aids pharmacies and pharmacy chains by optimizing drug product selection and analyzing offerings from their vendors in a real-time environment. SureCost evaluates information in detail, selecting and ordering the optimal product based on both dynamic volume and pricing data using custom pharmacy parameters to provide pharmacies with cost savings, time savings and compliance for their drug purchases.
