Emerlyn Technology has introduced an auto re-order application for its SureCost® e-procurement tool, enhancing the software's versatility and adding greater efficiencies for pharmacy purchasing.
SureCost analyzes offerings from the pharmacy's vendors to provide cost savings, time savings and contract compliance for daily drug product purchases. In instances when the selected product(s) are not available, the new SureCost auto-reorder feature will automatically reorder an equivalent product from either the same or alternative source. In addition, the pharmacy can specify reorder parameters to provide various limits in the reorder process.

In either scenario, by providing an efficient procurement application, the user is better assured optimum selection each time a product is queried for purchase.
SureCost aids pharmacy drug product purchasers by evaluating information in finite detail and ultimately ordering the optimal product based on unique user parameters - volume usage, rebates, contract pricing, market share, cost, Medicaid coverage and more. SureCost evaluates product from a variety of pharmacy specific suppliers on the front end of the purchase cycle and makes purchase recommendations without bias.
